Professional Background

J. Kevin Sneed, RPLU, was the CEO and President of US Pro Insurance Services. He is nationally recognized for his expertise in Cyber Liability, Directors & Officers (D&O), and Professional Liability insurance. Kevin has more than 41 years of experience in underwriting, marketing, and Specialty Casualty brokerage. He has been a licensed broker since 1996 and earned his Registered Professional Liability Underwriter (RPLU) designation in 2002.

Throughout his career, Kevin has worked for leading insurance companies including CNA, Crum & Forster, Coregis, and Zurich. In 2008, he founded US Pro Insurance Services, which supports independent insurance agencies across 48 states and D.C. Kevin is also a frequent speaker at industry conferences, particularly on Cyber Liability and Specialty Lines insurance.

Kevin’s leadership focuses on threat mitigation through consumer education and helping organizations understand emerging cyber risks. He works closely with insurance professionals, businesses, nonprofits, and municipalities to promote stronger risk management practices and maintain comprehensive insurance coverage.

Kevin is active in several industry and community organizations, including the Independent Insurance Agents of Illinois, PIA of DuPage, the Professional Liability Underwriting Society and its Midwest Chapter, and the Bolingbrook Chamber of Commerce. In 2020, US Pro Insurance Services was named Best Professional Commercial Services Business in Bolingbrook by the Bolingbrook Chamber of Commerce and was a nominee for five (5) consecutive years.
