
Penny Bennett holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and a bachelor’s degree in business administration, along with undergraduate certificates in Business Law and the Fundamentals of Small Business. She is a state-licensed Property & Casualty professional and is currently pursuing AINS and AU designations, while preparing for advanced legal and business education with a long-term interest in corporate and insurance law. Penny has experience in Commercial Property & Casualty underwriting across both carrier and MGA environments, with a focus on General Liability and Property, and has worked on complex mid to large commercial risks in close collaboration with retail agents and internal teams.
Penny brings a thoughtful, organized, and solutions-focused approach to her work. She enjoys mentoring newer underwriters, supporting onboarding efforts, and helping teams stay aligned through clear communication and efficient workflow coordination. Known for balancing multiple priorities with care and consistency, she values collaboration and continuous improvement.
Outside of work, Penny is passionate about education access, child development, and animal welfare. She enjoys traveling, learning new skills, cooking and baking, reading, and spending quality time with her family and pets.
