Robert Olson began his insurance career as an underwriting trainee with Travelers Insurance Company in San Francisco. After earning his Bachelor of Science degree from Golden Gate University, he quickly advanced through the underwriting ranks to lead a department focused on large commercial accounts. With over a decade of experience as a surplus lines broker, Robert brings deep expertise and a thoughtful approach to complex risks. Prior to joining R.E. Chaix & Associates, he worked with a national wholesaler, where he gained extensive knowledge handling challenging placements across multiple industries. When brokers need clarity and confidence on a complicated risk, Bob is the one to call.
