Employee Spotlight: Tyler Crinion

Please join us in congratulating Tyler Crinion, our Employee Spotlight!

Tyler got his start in the insurance world by helping out at his mom’s retail agency one summer. Looking for professional experience, he later joined R.E. Chaix as a college intern and, after graduating, came back full-time. Starting out with little knowledge of the industry, Tyler leaned on his team’s guidance, stayed consistent, and put in the hard work to grow into the role he has today.
Known for his adaptability and willingness to learn, Tyler is a team player who values open communication and collaboration. His positive attitude, dependability, and drive to keep growing have made him a strong asset to R.E. Chaix. Outside the office, you can often find Tyler on the basketball court or golf course, enjoying live music, relaxing at the beach, or diving into a good book.
When asked to share some words about Tyler, Ryan Wilber, CLCS, Vice President at R.E. Chaix and Tyler’s direct manager, said:
“Tyler is the kind of teammate and employee everyone hopes for — a top producer who shows up every day with a great attitude and a willingness to help wherever it’s needed. His consistency, drive, and support make a huge difference, and we’re extremely lucky to have him on the team.”
A: I had helped my mom’s retail agency over one summer just doing filing. Was looking to get more professional experience and started as an intern during college with R.E. Chaix. Once I graduated, I returned to R.E. Chaix and have been here ever since.
A: I’ve always been a jack of all trades master of none type of person. Which meant to be successful in any specific area I would have to put the work in to become better which I have applied here and over time have seen it come to fruition.

A: Most challenging situation I’ve faced is entering this industry with no experience and little knowledge. Overcame this with the support of my team around me who fostered my growth and allowed me to learn from their experience.
A: Communication, adaptability, and understanding. Communication is key to make sure that everyone is on the same page towards the same goal, understanding allows for the communication to move more effectively, and adaptability allows for a team to be able to shift ideas and solutions when new challenges arise.
A: Both of my parents who taught me how to treat others and also what it looks like to face adversity. Professionally, Ryan Wilber has been a great mentor who I have gleaned from how to support others and how far honesty can go in maintaining/growing relationships.
A: Not sure if there is a specific moment or accomplishment that I am most proud of. More so looking back to where I started to where I am now. A realization of my effort to be consistent and to put in hard work took me a long way.

A: Love to play basketball and golf, going to live music shows, spending time at the beach, and reading.
Tyler, your dedication and focus have been key to the success of your team and the company. We’re excited to see your continued success!
